Man of the Match Vikings Number 6
Too bad boys, we'll catch them on the flip side, hopefully with a better ref
Thanks Burgs , like the rest of the team he'd be filthy about the loss..it sounded like finishing was the problem tonight eh?.... great coverage mate!
Nice Job Burgs and Gerry - I guess Jedi got lost with that full strength beer - he was going to do some colour commentary. Allegedly.
Thanks QS.
Yeah word from the ground that they just had too much dropped ball and knock ons.
Sounds like he had a couple of rusty passes to to start but didn't cost anything (ie re-gathered) and really settled to the task for most of the match.
Big call to play 80mins at this level first start.
Jack Vanderglas? I thought he was one of the Yellow Cards???
Will have to look back through the notes
Jack Vanderglas is the Vikings #6 good to hear he did well on debut. He also was awarded the ACT premier grade player of the year at the awards night tonight.
Thanks guys for the updates, I'm sitting at work so I appreciate it, but now I have to do some work
Great effort fellows. Far better than those RugbyWA turkeys. What a pathetic show by their so called match recorder.
They are still showing 3-3 at half time on their site!
And thanks muchly for the updates guys.

Any news on Pek and Ratus' injuries?
Nothing yet from me Fulv, probably won't hear til tomorrow now.
Ratu may not be serious, Gerry indicated he was hobbling, "blown" may have been a tad of an over statement on my behalf ;)
Glad to give others the chance to be a part of the match :approve:
New thread to discuss the result etc here: http://thewholeforce.com/showthread.php?t=9477
:approve: Evie you were right and we were wrong! Good luck to the Vikings next week against the Tornadoes!Quote:

Which is no mean feat considering poor Easts have really struggled in recent years, they haven't made a first grade grand final since 1973 and came 2nd last this season in firsts (and about that in every other bar 4ths). Even so this is a club that has had players like Matt Giteau (he played Colts for them, even won a premiership) turn out for them at some stage....
Apologies for lack of colourful commentary from me - I did, indeed, get lost in a sea of full-strength beer! Feel a tad sketchy today!
