6,7,8 and 11 are rules you shall never see me or my group of members follow.
You may be all polite, nice & nerdy in gold and silver memberships but spend some time up in the third tier with the iron members. Every rule is broken!
And what ever you think about them up there.... they are still true rugby supporters!
To some its a six-pack, to me it's a support group.
"#2. When not on game days...and you see another member...be it they are wearing a cap or a shirt...greet them with...."May the Force be with you."
I will buy a beer for the first person to say this to me when I'm wearing my jersey ... I figure they'll deserve it for their complete lack of self-consciousness (or their desperation for a drink).

Unfortunately the actual race goes through the Silver section so the boys don't get the full effect although most of the Silver stayers do move to the race to chear which is good.
I actually had a go at those leaving in the first match (a bit of booze courage but politely enough none the less) for leaving on the whistle from near us.
In our earlier thread we had those who did have some genuine reasons for leaving asap but people who leave early simply to beat the line at the pub without at least waiting til the team comes past are ...... ordinary supporters![]()

Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Just got back from Hillarysand just greeted a fellow supporter wearing a Force jumper with "may the force be with you" AND I had a TWF card on me so I gave him one

Not real sure about number 2. The rest are cool except im going to need some work to change my mind regarding 7,respecting the refs etc.We all realise officinating any game of sport isnt easy and when they do well, are invisible and have no bearing on the result of the game, then good oh. On the other hand when they dont respect the player/s that they are officinating then look out.
It is in our makeup to give the ref, ump whatever a damn good bake if they deserve it and have a damn good whinge over a pint later on.Who honestly on this site respects Kaplan?

I don't mind people yelling, booing, or whatever at the refs during a game. What really bothers me is after the game blaming the officials for a loss. Good teams simply overcome bad calls and find a way to win. Losers whine and cry about the refs. Nobody wants to be a loser.

I can understand how Larry may not be able to relate to some of these points, he is after all an American living in America, we all know they do things a little different over there, however you Luke are just an absolute imbecile who should know better. Now that is the last compliment I'm gunna give ya Luke.Originally Posted by luke_the_pom

#6 Be generous in your applause for efforts of our opposition..but not too generous.....and make sure their supporters are treated with courtesy....remember there are a number of our members who have dual loyalities....teams of your birthplace may still be your team....you never know...next week they may be sitting next to you cheering for the Force again.
I understand the second part, visiting fans should be able to enjoy the game without being abused. But I don't get why you'd want clap for the visiting team. They are the enemy and it's an insult to the home team to cheer for the enemy. Out of respect for the Force you should never cheer the other team.
#7 Respect the officials.....the referees and touch judges have a job to do...as in life...we all make mistakes....if they do...then like us we should accept the decision and move on.
When I make a mistake at home my wife calls me an A-hole.Why should the refs get any slack?
11. No Boo-ing, ever, its not warrented, its not needed, especially when the opposition is attempting to kick a penalty/conversion.
I don't get it...but I'm staying away from this one. At the Philadelphia Flyers games (hockey) they don't boo the refs either, When they make a bad call the whole arena starts chanting Bull Sh**!
lmao! we should all start chanting that when they make a bad call!!!I recon it would be funny ... and people watching the game on tellie would be hmmm what are they saying ... and they have there little kid watching ... mummy whats the crowd saying ... then mum clicks on and is like ahhhh! omg I cant beleive they said that!! ... but lol it was funny ... and she starts chanting it too ,,, and then the kid is like mummy :s ... WTF!!! .... could happen! it could!!! I swear it could!!! lmao! ... muhahaha ... you know what I would like to see a morman sitting next to one of the craziest supporters who give the opposition and ref shite ... in the form of foul language, while chugging down dozens of midstrength beers ... I would laugh ... perhaps we should sit them next to Luke??? ... hmmm ... I pity any young children that get to sit in the same block as him
.... hehehehe... yeah ... anyyy whos ... oh and with the standing waiting for the force to leave the ground ... I make the whole row wait ... well until they work out they can get out the other way ... cos Im right on the end muhahahahaah!
