The Spewbie disaster is another example of lack of vision from rugby WA. A better solution for spectators should have been devised if they knew Spewbire was going to be the venue beyond one year. Temporary seating along the sidelines could have been erected for each game. Fly it in with helicopters if necessary. The existing arrangement is a glaring example of lack of vision, lack of imagination, lack of willingness to promote the game, lack of consideration for the market (the spectator). Rugby WA is a farce. $850K is small change for an organisation of its size and sponsor drawing capacity. It smells of incompetence. It reeks of mismanagement. It smacks of amateurism and an organisation out of their depth. This rare opportunity presented to the rugby community of WA is being metaphorically splashed on the floor of the urinal by a group of cowboys with no clue what they are doing
