More than anything, I think this exonerates the players. I got the impression Dick went to the Reds with the mentality that it was the players fault for the poor results at the Force. The poor results following him, even with a selection of Wallabies under his command....
"Selection of Wallabies" = 14 capped players in the 35-man squad.
The Force has 6.
