Yes, the posts from late yesterday were all exclaiming the defeat of NSW1 a great leap forward. Last year the win against QLD2 was good, this win however really puts CS in the box seat for a finals place. Great for WA, Vic and gives us SA people a glimmer of hope that as standards rise, Rugby at the end of the day wins but more importantly other youngsters from our areas will no longer see top rugby as the province of only the eastern states. Go boys go!
It was funny reading the New South Wailers complaining about their team losing on the sportal rugby forums.
If the combined states reach the final and perform well giving QLD 1 a run for their money in the final then both WA and VIC should be looked at being promoted to the 1st Div. Considering both of those teams make up the vast majority of the CS team.
