Yellow for Potter early on
Fairly lacklustre first 40mins to the season so far.
Maul defence has been good, lineout hit and miss.
Scrums have been poor and the canes have targeted this weak point to good effect.
Too many one out forward runners getting caught without support and ref is quick to give holding on penalties.
Backline seems disjointed. Not really clicking.
A few good backline plays but very poor execution letting them down.
Hurricanes 3 tries to nothing at half time, with two of them being fairly easy. the Force's only foray into the canes 22 at the very end of the half, coming away with nil reward. Canes start the second half with a man in the bin in what seemed a fairly soft yellow for offside
You're a wizard Harry
Kirifi's cheap shot didn't look great
Marley Pierce vs Jordy Barrett head clash.
I have one question.
Why didn't Jordy go off for an HIA?
Showing some spark here. Similar storey of last year - too little too late?
Or canes feeling the heat of a 30deg Perth night? They have been dropping to one knee for water breaks at regular opportunities
Force Wasted 5m lineout has gifted possession back to the Canes, but they are showing some heart
What's the attendance?
Good defensive pressure by the force on their own 22m line has earned a penalty, but the lineout lost on halfway after a good touchfinder by Donaldson.
Now force scrum with a new front row earns a penalty. Let's do something with it
7855 attendance.
7855
And the canes walk a maul straight over for a try.
Force forward reserves now falling off tackles and giving a lot of ground in scrums. Lineouts also struggling big time
5mins to go, 37 - 14 to the canes.
Just looking to save face now
Anyone know why Kaitu'u didn't get in the 23? Don't think he would have missed 5 in a row
