Talking of fixtures, I would like to segue into this thread.

It's been a while since I have visited the site but I hope you don't mind if I use it.

I'm trying to recruit people for Green & Gold Rugby who are willing to write about the Western Force team so they get as much exposure as the other teams do.

We are all rugby nuts who volunteer our time because we are far from being a commercial organisation.

Last year we had a few writers who carried the load for Force games but hardly any are putting their hands up this year.

We write previews and reviews (match reports) of all Western Force fixtures except away games in Australia (in which case the home team writers do the job).

If you think you would like to give it a go we would give you some guidelines and publish your piece for you. All we ask is for people to write three previews and reviews during the season - or at least, two.

Alternatively, or in addition, would you please ask some of your friends in the rugby community to do the same.

In these ways we can reduce the amount of disruptions in this thread.
