A bit like the Force Brumbies scoreline... indicates it was a better and more exciting game than it actually way.
Very very scrappy for large portions of the game juxtaposed with small pockets of brilliance.
First half was all highlanders and it was really only in the second half that the tahs looked like they wanted to win. Was really good to see them put up such a cracking fight and go down fighting.
My heart goes out to Peter Hewat missing that last conversion attempt to win the game... heartbreaking stuff.
Poor tahs. :(
You are right Jess, seems he is having a really unlucky year for matchwinning kicks, yesterdays, the one rigth in front the other week, and two dads brain explosion against us...
come on if it wasnt for two dads....
Just underscores the selection decisions of Jones and Connelly over the last couple of years.
Agree re the scoreline Jess, the Tahs had no right to be taking any points from that match and the Highlanders should be embarrassed by how the second half turned out.
The first half indicated they would "tear them a new hole" in the second forty.
The Tahs seem to be suffering the Force disease of playing the kick for kick game against better equipped sides.
Ironic that their brightest light is heading down the highway next year...
