NIB stadium parking

Just wanted to pick some of your brains if that's ok....

Fortunately for me the job I'm on offshore has come to a shuddering halt. I'm flying back in to Perth on Saturday & rock up at 12:25pm. The missus is gonna collect me. I've never driven to the stadium before, always done the train. Chances are we'd park up in the city & train it over.

I know we should have some time on our side, but in case of any flight delays / immigration / customs etc... where would be the best place to park near the stadium.

Or Claisebrook - there's usually parking available on the south side by the TAFE

Do you have an "e passport"? If not, be prepared to spend at least an hour getting through border control!! Today, they only had one person on for a while - and there were two flights of people waiting to be processed! Public service cuts have gone way too deep imo

E Passports? I know what they are and ours run out this year. Are they optional or are they all electronic now. Extra costs are?

After going through Saudi immigration on the way out here, an hour seems like a breeze Alison.... 5 and 3/4 hours!

Good job I didn't have my "Western Force" t-shirt on... they may have mis-understood?!

epassports are standard issue for any new passports. There's no downside apart from if you're travelling with kids as they have to go through normal (delayed) channels.

All new passports are "e passports" these days so if you're getting new ones they'll automatically be e ones.

Yep, my incompetent employers managed to stuff up the visa. Wasn't too bad, it was the night we beat the Chiefs. I figured since work stuffed it up I would use my work phone to data roam & trawl through the threads / posts on here & match reports.

I think the immigration officials were wondering why I was so happy.

Well that's me in Dubai airport, checked in and in to a lounge.

Gonna settle in and watch the Chiefs & Reds games on YouTube as my flight ain't until 10pm local tonight.

Only danger now is a delayed flight... and preceding that, too much free piss in my salubrious surroundings. Alarm set for 9pm on a level that may register on the Richter scale just in case.

Thanks for the info on parking, hope to see you's all tomorrow. GO THE FORCE!
