Great article and nice to see recognition of Nathan's hard work on the other side of the country.
Well Done Nathan! What a fantastic guy! So happy he's with the Force! :yeah:
was really worried when he went down after that shouldr/head charge but for him to come back on was incredibly brave/stupid (i am of the belief that if you are knocked out thats it for the day..) but obviously the team doc thought he was alright...
My heart was in my mouth too Zim! I think they have been taught to lay as still as possible whenever they get a hit to the head or neck until the Doc comes on and assesses them. It's good to see them complying but it's very scary for us fans when you don't know what's going on! The Force Doc is absolutely the best in the business and is a big proponent for introducing better concussion policies in Australian rugby.
Reading this it occurs to me that JOC and Nathan are like chalk and Cheese (couldn't resist)
Cheese doesn't take anything for granted and has no hint of an entitlement mentality. Every thing he has in this sport is from bloody hard effort, determination and humility. Well done Nathan.
Could not agree more Mac. And I think the same goes for pretty much every guy in the squad. Hence why I was so against JOC coming back - it would have been a spanner in the works imo.
Brilliant article. Cheese is truly an inspiration.
