Elwee Prinsloo at GPS in Brisbane
-
Geez I'm glad you found that link,
Nobody on this site had any clue where he'd gone.
There are also four or five missing spirit squad members, can you find them?

"After meeting his wife in the UK, Prinsloo moved down under" - sounds a little saucy doesn't it?

"There are a number of fresh faces down at training including a few players that Prinsloo has brought over from Perth." - mystery solved.

GPS lost in the QLD Premier grade grand final today however this is a club and team that has gone through hard times in the last few years, last played in a final series in 2013. Elwee as attack coach and also others involved has played a huge role in getting the club to the finals this year.

Watched some of the match through Facebook when in range, was pretty hard fought from what I saw.

He has to make time to drop by here a bit more often. Jargs is up to 18000 posts. ;)

it was a great match to watch there was a good plan on both sides and it was executed well, in the end the luck just did not go GPS's way

really? I'm a GPS boy but I thought it was a terrible match. The first half in particular was such a low standard. Big error rate which I guess some will put down to GF nerves.
The rugby improved in the 2nd half but GPS weren't unlucky (other than perhaps the Samo yellow). They were just poor. They blew their chances and Uni defended manfully. AJ Alitimu was fantastic for GPS, as was their THP Fred Burke.
Uni are a very professional, amateur team with a very high quality coach (Mick Heenan) who will coach Brisbane City this year, and actually sounded out the Force last year. Will be interesting to see how he goes at the next level.
