We got pounded with 24" of snow yesterday, I'm sure it won't melt in 5 days, so we'll have our first White Christmas in many years.
Time to go dig out the cars!

Global warming's a real bitch aint it...
That's just not right - we've got a forecast of 36 ('bout 97 for for you Larry) for Christmas which, although a little cool, is how Christmas should be!
We're a little worried about a white Christmas here too - the local parrots are going mad for the tree next to the house.
I can help you with that TQ1 :)

Could be, you know - there's such a thing as 'too cold to snow', so perhaps it is in fact warmer chez Larry than it has been in recent years! 8-)
By the way - are American houses as poorly insulated as Aussie homes? By the look of the roofs in the picture, there's a lot of heat being lost there...
Snow! Nice!!!!
Although digging cars out and shovelling our paths and doors is not so much fun. All that effort will keep you warm, Lazz!
(BTW, global warming is predicted to eventually cause colder temperatures in Western Europe and north Atlantic US states, not warmer. Gulf stream issues, apparently).
EM: It actually is colder than normal. If this was a normal temperature it would have been all rain. The insulation is pretty good, there were 40 mph winds and no trees or hills to block them so that's why the roofs look like they do.
I'm lucky that my neighbors have snow blowers so there was very like manual labor. It was sort of a party...hang out blow snow and drink a few beers on a Sunday morning!
I could only make it thru 2:31 of that song medley.:S
Oooh - interesting...
Ah! Got to love snow + wind: plenty of drifts?
Now, THAT's how to clear snow. When I was a kid it was just me & Jedi and a couple of shovels. And we had to clear our neighbours' pavement as well as ours!
The Aussie equivalent is the leaf-blower. Also lots of fun, according to Harry.
Larry will ask Santa to send you over express for XMAS - we have a leaf blower and will swap it for the gun. While you are here you can have a dip in our pool - now that would be something to tell the neighbours when Santa brought you home.
Or Lote's street...
Weekend at Lote's...
thats pretty dam cool larry!
what are you driving btw? is that a forester?
