Hello world! Welcome to the "Badger is a gay scooter" chat report
long time since I've done this, so lets see how I stack up
Swee pops in about an hour after I open the doors via an actual irc chat client (ie non-java irc facility) and we briefly chat about the cricket which had just about ended. I mentioned about the "irish idiot ref" before Swee decided to go back to java irc. Elf followed Swee back in, whereupon I offered around some e-pizza.
Swee talked about her gogo boots, Elf is looking for an apartment (I mentioned a couple of places to look) and I brought up the subject of WACA redevelopment.
RAH!byn (aka Mrs Drew) popped in and was promptly confused and disturbed by the chat topic.
Apparently Elf has recently returned from a personal trainer session.
RAH!byn (who I will now call lotelotebashbash - think Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) says a bunch of stuff about Drew's hair (what else? :p ), but then remembers she has Thu and Fri off school.
Jargan pops in and has a break from playing a game on his PS3. Coach pops in also.
Elf gives the final result for cricket and I offer more e-pizza.
Lots of nothing jibber jabber here.
TraceTrace wanders in, jargan hits a bump in the road on the superhighway of interconnected "toobs". lotelotebashbash goes in search of her sisters budgie. Coach disappears again, as does Elf.
Gerry wanders in and order a Magnum straight away. I have a choice here of alcoholic beverage, ice cream or handgun. Guess which one I chose?
TT has cooked up a bucketload of beef strog and offers it around (probably much better than the pizza).
lotelotebashbash returns from a successful hunt and regales us with the report.
I've just noticed Elf popped back in again.
lotelotebashbash's infatuation with one Mitchell, D. seems to be bubbling over just a tad at the moment. Elf moves it off the stove to cool down.
gus and oxley appear in chat now
lotelotebashbash tries a few times to rename herself
the magical word "RIOT!" is uttered in ye olde irc chat
force_addict still sucks at the irc, so she won't be in. I hope she isn't running in a Citrix session * shudder *

I advise the channel that in 10 days from 'tomorrow' (now yesterday), I will be on top of 'the hill', since the next day I will be over it (ie 40th burpday). gustaf said I should change my name then I can be 18 again. Not sure I want to go through all that pain again. An extra 20 or so years at work. urghhhh.
lotelotebashbash asks if she has reached the hill. at 15? "way long time to go".
gerry advises he did a large round trip today. Bunbury-Perth-Bunbury. Reminds me of the person who used to wor...be contracted to my employer. After he left us, he went to do computer work at TAFE in Joondalup. He lives in Rockingham.
Jargan returns. lotelotebashbash is looking forward to driving. crazy kid.

I help out oxley with public transport requirements between Spewbi Oval and Perth Airport. tragic wanders in
(at this point I did extensive research for the apparently many public transport bus options going to the airport. provided ox with some links for his further research).
Swee almost fell asleep of the 'fascinating'-ness of it. Elf actually departed

LarryOfTheJoisey trots in. we explain to lotelotebashbash who macaulay culkin is, since his name appeared in chat before Larry appeared. She also hasn't heard of WoW (aka World of Warcraft). WIN! (btw, home alone richie rich is a WoW player and got his current beau into it, not that anyone [inc me] cares).
Now when you think of Culkin, talk naturally moves onto Whacko Jacko. I've just had a thought. "whacko" could have been inspired from at least 2 different things.

the talk moves to shopping (specifically christmas shopping).
