Can someone explain what this statement means? "It was definitely old school type of footy game where everyone was just in having a crack," New South Wales captain Chris Whitaker said.
Just in having a crack??
Basically "having a go" Larry. Backing themselves to run the ball up and hit the opposition rather than fancy passing moves etc. A very physical match with plenty of bloodshed!
