This looks right - no news on the match yet though - "Meanwhile, the second string Western Force Gold outfit touring South Africa has suffered a comprehensive 37-0 defeat at the hands of the Golden Lions at the University of Johannesburg." This was an addendum to an article on Josh Grahams decision to leave the Force - http://www.theage.com.au/news/Sport/...964399406.html

Force Gold outplayed by Golden Lions
Western Force Gold has been outplayed in its clash with the Golden Lions at the University of Johannesburg on Saturday night, going down 37-0.
The game proved a handy Currie Cup warm-up for the Lions but too many mistakes and a lack of depth in key positions cost Western Force Gold.
The scoreboard was bare after the first 30 minutes but the Lions poured on the points either side of the half time break.
Western Force Gold coach John Mulvihill said that despite the result, the match was a valuable experience for his younger players.
"We were physically outmuscled, particularly at the breakdown out wide," he said.
"What it showed, more than anything, is that less than three days between games is too short a turnaround against quality opposition."
Last Wednesday night, Western Force Gold lost a nine-try thriller to a Sharks invitational side in Pietermaritzburg.
Stand-out performers against the Lions included Chris O'Young and Haig Sare in the backs and AJ Whalley and Luke Doherty in the forwards.
Another strong showing off the bench from flanker Will Brock has him well placed for a starting position for the game against the Blue Bulls on Friday in Pretoria. Kick-off is at 3:00pm (SA time).
