Again?
Yeah, bit different this time, without 7 missing for Perth Gold and Academy, and a few new boys coming in also.
Rocky will be somewhat different in 2008 me thinks. Lots of work going on already.
Was Willi ever first grade coach Officially Bunter? I know he's been on the team for years, but I don't know if the 'name was on the score sheet' so to speak.
That being said. He'll really get the boys hummin' this year. watch out for some upsets at Lark Hill!
Yes Willie did coach the first grade team a couple of years ago but regards that year as one of his most difficult.
Many key senior players were taken out for State duties frequently, and nine Colts that year.
Also there were a few disruptive elements within the group which did not help the cause.
Willie is well respected at Rockingham, and some of the players that he has coached through from U/15s and Colts, will now be contesting for positions in the Premier team.
Heaps of enthusiasm already with 15-20 players already training twice a week, and a few new topline players already signed with the club.
The issue for the club to work on, will be maintaining depth.
And Beef O'Connor getting more game time than expected, before getting injurd doesn't help either!
At least Kieran will be getting plenty of time to put on the beef and turn out in fighting trim.
Good luck lads. Willie knows his rugby . Just make sure you don't piss him off again by bad attitude!
Thanks Fulvio, hopefully a lot of that bad attitude has departed the club and Rockingham can move forward.
