Solo Sandgroper In Wallaroos Squad

Congratulations to Cottesloe’s Debby Hodgkinson for making the current trimmed down Australian Women’s World Cup Squad.

The following ladies were in the initial 111 player National squad, but have unfortunately not been required at this stage:
Emma Daly (Southern Lions),
Tamara Darling (Kalamunda),
Angela Doyle (Cottesloe),
Stacey Kilmister (Kalamunda),
Nicki McLoughlin (Kalamunda),
Melissa Rowe (Southern Lions),
Jodie Wielgomasz (Kalamunda).

As the current Sue Roberts Trophy holder it seems fitting that if Western Australia is to have only one selected in the squad it is the player deemed to be the Fairest and Best in 2005.

Debby is part of the extended 56 player squad which will be reduced to 36 following the National Women’s Championships in July and then 26 before heading to Canada in August.

Best wishes Debbie, TWF and I'm sure all Western Australians are right behind you getting to Canada!
