Piggies v Princesses
For the first time in a LONG time (darren could possibly back me up on this) - the Princesses out scored the piggies against the reds, when i looked 6.08 v 5.67.
Why is this worth noting? we have not had a back line who could find the try line for a long time. I believe that having Lance at the helm is giving the princesses the delivery that they need to fire and shine.
Lance (best on ground), Masewera and DHP all scored above 7's, this weeks half back, prior, was at 6.4, above the encombant.
It really give me hope that this season will not be a total waste of time and heart ache.
Get the forwards back up to where they should be (poor millar dragged em down a bit), and then have a 9-10 pairing deliver decent ball and strategy to the back, and we have something!

Yep - first time since Round 6 last year (which was the only time this happened in 2015)
2008 Tally: Piggies:2, Princeses: 11
2009 Tally: Piggies:8, Princeses: 5
2010 Tally: Piggies:12, Princeses: 1
2011 Tally: Piggies:8, Princeses: 8
2012 Tally: Piggies:16, Princeses: 0
2013 Tally: Piggies:7, Princeses: 9
2014 Tally: Piggies:12, Princeses: 4
2015 Tally: Piggies:15, Princeses: 1
Would be interesting to check percentage of matches won when the Princess' win ...
Knocked up a page here: which has round by round tallys - will look at adding match results to each round. http://twf.com.au/pp.php

Have added wins to the http://twf.com.au/pp.php page.
Of the 40 times the backs took out the PvP honours, we won 22 matches compared to 20 out of 81 for the forwards.

interesting statistic isn't it. I would love the data put through power-BI, you could do a really nice analysis on it.
