It had better be an epic - it's taking long enough to produce...!
Tif is having serious logging on problems so im sure he will inform us all when he can get on site. Can let the world know that Lonzys table came last and my table full of brain surgeons came 2nd.........last!
Our table was robbed of first place by a table full of misfits and mutants!;)
Sorry folks as TLH said I've had some issues but thanks to the ever efficient Coach I'm back. Some cheeky bugger at iinet blocked my access!!
A complete report will appear here real soon along with pics in the Gallery.
Just gotta get through the 500 odd posts I missed.
Pics now in Gallery, report will be up soon (ish).
Doors opened at 6pm and the only person waiting at the door for the dunny and magners was TLH, he managed to get them completed in the right order.
Travelling_Gerry arrived, and being the kind and generous bookie he is, he came with two loverly ladies who seemed to have done some preperation work and made it through most of a bottle of bubbly, the laughter was heard all the way back to :jbs:
Lonzy arrived with security guards and shotguns to protect her amazing peice of art work .. bidding on this item later reached $500 providing Scott Fava's signature is attached to it .. one of the misfit scots (a drunk EnForcer) made the highest bid for the night and still TIF wouldn't let him have it!!
Jess arrived with old man cringle, not in a santa suit, and the one and only Beaver. A quiet entrance by one of our more active web site posters - bit shy matty??? :P
Pumbaa and Frontrow were in tables next to each other, which will result in the bowlo having some foundation work to lift that side of the building back up to level, especially after their combined weight and all the meat and wine their tables won beat the Wallabies forward pack by a tidy 60 odd kilo's. One person on this table won thundersticks in the raffle and after blowing them up each member of his table took turns in smacking him over the head - I dunno, must be a northern thing ;)
SuperBar Maid sit in the middle, TIF forgot she was their when he was announcing all the members, he's promptly been banned at :jbs: since and has to have his drinks snuck out to him by others!
The kiwi table made remarks about how hard the questions were and wanting to see me outside on a regular basis everytime they failed to get an answer!
The auction of tickets for the prizes during the night went well... I think some tables had their own person photocopying machines (Beaver!!!!!) as I'm sure he won more prizes than tickets we sold! We gave out everything from Western Force pencil's to a brand new Western Force polo shirt all for .50c tickets - the proceeds funded myself and TIF's cuban cigars then next day quite nicely thankyou!! ;)
The ending to a nice evening was the Wallabies record score* for an UK tour soured only slightly the early departure of said drunk scot! :D
*according to channel ten news!
I admit it, the dummy was spat out and the teddy was thrown over the hill but in my defence I was drunk and my sense of humour was flagging. My so called Aussie mates were beggining to sound more and more like gloating englishmen rather than scholarily rugby supporters.........it all became too much for me to bare.:verysad:Quote:

With regard to those Kiwis, one of them is still arguing about some answers. I'll buy a pint on Sunday for the first person to PM me with who they think it is?
The Official Jumper raffle did sell out and we have raised $2000 for TWF, thanks TG and all members that purchased tickets. As we know Fulvio was the winning with Jedi taking out 2nd prize of the Gitz autographed hat.
The 50 cent raffles raised $140
Bidding on Lonzy's Scott Fava Picture (more news on that soon) saw bidding reach $500 in just three bids!! (anyone wanting to Auction their house should really have a chat with the resident real estate agent)
Plus we also handed over $258 to John Bedford who is a WA referee that has been invited to officiate at the 6th Touch World Cup in South Africa in January 2007. Good luck John.
The final results
1st - Frontrow, TG n Jeids Table
2nd - Sav's Table
3rd - Jessc n Matt Beavers Table
Rugby Piture Round - TEF's Table
Super 12/14 Champions Round - Sav's Table
Sparko....mines a pint of Guiness please.
3rd was our spunky chat night barmaid Jess's table!!!
Just to clarify
1st prize was a $250 voucher to the Nude Kitchen resturaunt at :jbs:
2nd prize was 6 bottles of wine
3rd prize was 6 movie Hoyts tickets
I think it is really great that it went so well.
To be honest, at the start I thought the boys were being pretty optimistic thinking the first event could get that many "strangers" to come out from behind the computer screens but, as is often the case, I have been proven wrong.
Fantastic effort Happy and TIF and all others who helped or donated time/produce/whatever to what appears to have been a very successful and enjoyable night.
Would be interested in the break down of how many were TWF Members and how many graciously made up the numbers?
Hopefully a few new members now too?
Fingers crossed that I can make it to another one!
Well done fellas
Don't know where I would buy Guiness, they only have Guinness on tap at :jbs:Quote:

Looking forward to our lunch at the Nude Kitchen....a bit confused though as on all previous visits I've always kept my clothes on.....wonder it Sunday will be the same.....!!!!
For the record, not all drunken Scots went home early....stayed to the bitter end....didn't pay any attention to the gloating Aussies as was more interested in the sexy girls that came in from the Pearl Jam concert at Subi....was there a rugby match on??!!!!
Sav ?
And still waiting for a PM with the correct answer. Happy I really thought you of all people would be able to follow instructions.
A little clue. PM me your answer.
