He'd probably reflect on pushing on with Englands innings well past Lunch yesterday.
.....and that too.
4:50pm in the UK and it's still bucketing down. Will take an hour or more to get the ground ready, cmon umpires I want to go the bed soon.
Finally I can go to bed.
Drawn Test and we keep the urn.
Not the way we'd like to have won the urn, but in how many tests have Australia been denied victory due to poor weather? Some payback, I think.
Aus badly need to win the next test
It will be nice, but -no they don't. It's getting towards a decade since England held the Ashes. Since, they have not won a Test on Australian soil. Our boys have won 12 - 4 in England.

Loosely translated to Oztrine......a win's a win mate, go tell someone who fives a f@ck.
Would be very funny if the rain interferes in the next game. Certainly if it were to prevent Australia winning and put any saltiness to bed, but especially if it prevented an English win to give Australia the outright series win...
I think the only result better than 5-0 is this one.
The stinkers will be moaning all the way to the next Series!!!

Looking at the BBC weather for London (https://www.bbc.com/weather/6690601) shows a reasonable chance of rain affecting four of the five days.
Australia invented rain - English media, probably.
