Even the idea that SARU is talking mergers and considering the Lion Kings - team songs, logos, etc write themselves...
The problem is, most young Australians (of voting age) seem to think they won't be voting for Labour, but voting for Ruddy! Ruddo me mate! The Rudmeister!
I'm not picking up many who are talking about a party who dumped the bloke to replace him with a Prime Minister who didn't keep a single election promise, yet failed to deliver a strong economic performance!
I never held a strong political preference until about a month ago.......right now I'm a confirmed Liberal voter, because it's better the Devil you know than the Devil who doesn't even know himself whether he'll have a job next month!
Enjoying the sunshine in Sydney, beer in hand listening to Lions supporters telling me how they will win tomorrow night lol

Fuck that gigs! You'll never see me voting liberal in it's current form.
Return to work choices, more GST (even though they have 'ruled it out' I'm skeptical).
Also we're yet to see any real policies from them as abbot & co are too busy attacking the govt. again granted labour make it really easy at the moment...

Politics is a cripple fight at the moment
"I believe I'll vote for a 3rd party candidate...."
See what I mean, tell the masses that you will give them tax cuts and increased services in the current economic climate and they'll vote for you.
Disregard any track history of actually keeping election promises. Don't listen to your shop steward Jono, he's selling you a pup
Jono, if I promise to organize that you will win lotto every week, will you vote for me?
The LNP hasn't outlined policy for it's next term should it get elected.
If you choose to vote for that then you forfeit the right to complain when they do something you don't like. Blind faith only goes so far.

There is a saying that "You get the political leadership that you deserve"
Between Rudd, Gillard and Abbott, a trio that should be screaming unelectable. It makes me wonder how we have fallen to deserving such poor leadership.
