Looks like I'll have to pull on the boots. Openside in a super game is pretty easy gig right?

I would just love to see Godwin get a game at 10 or 12 just to see what he has got. or even 15 with mafi at 12

David will miss the Blues game but should be ok for the Crusaders the week after
Training at Hale today
Season is gone anyway, nothing wrong with a bit of adversity to test out the new prospects.
Should start Godwin, after all the years of hype the U20's tournament may have been his coming of age.
I seem to remember thinking this the past few years...
At least I know my seat will be a permanent one next year... Unless the new stand gets injured or takes a better offer from another Australian or overseas franchise* in the offseason...
* or breaks one of the other stands jaws at the Left Bank
* or throws a quokka on Rottnest
* or steals from the other stands
Last years tour of NZ had the same kind of issues didn't it? I seem to recall that we went close in one game and won the other!!! So fingers crossed!!!
J O'Ns salary cap and 30 man squads is killing AU rugby!
This Pilocock had better have a very serious look at what is happening to the Au squads this year.
If it carries on for the next 2 weeks in the same vein we will end up with half of the Wallabies coming of Shute Shield games with no Super experience.
Enlarge the squads to what ever the club can afford have a couple of Marquee players and then we might start to build some depth with the new boys training under the guidance of the more experienced players.
Pocock keeps saying that he will wait till the season is over before making a decision. Well Sir your season is over I think now is the time to make a commitment or buzz off.
As much as I love the man and admire him for all the work he has done for our club on and off the field, I think this whole situation is damaging the Force. Just like last year With JOC. I’m sure that David didn’t like what happened there but the thing is, he is doing the same thing.
So David play your hand so the club can move on without all this negative air about.
And before anyone say anything about waiting to see who the coach is David knows who is in the mix good and bad.
His contract runs to the 31st December. Thats when his season is oficially over.
comparing pocock to JOC is a load of complete shit (and i'm not surprised it was you that did it), he has more character than to go back and forth making demands of rugbywa.
the season is not over, regardless of our position on the ladder. who are we to demand that he sign a contract or leave when he has said all season he wants to focus on his rugby.
also, if he does leave, what would the flow on effect be to the rest of the squad for those last 2 games.
not to mention, rugbyWA came out yesterday and said all negotiations are now on hold until a coach is appointed and signed off by the ARU.
also, i've a question for you. is there any actual indication that DP is making demands of rugbyWA re. his contract? is he instigating a back and forth of offers and counter offers? is he proposing KPI's that rugbyWA and the force must meet lest his contract be voided?
or, are all indications (that the man himself has said) that he is waiting until the end of the season before he makes a call on what he is going to do. so he doesn't have to stress about the pros and cons of staying?
