I've read a couple of times that the players "don't hear" the crowd when they're concentrating on their kick. They just tune it out. Given that, it would seem to be pointless to jeer.

Brought up to respect the kicker..Both with Ulster at Ravenhill and Ireland at Landsdowne..
Certainly attack the decision if warranted, but silence for the kick!
