22,000 for Argies in the Gold Coast last year. Capacity there is 27,000. I'd be surprised if we were less than 30,000 for the Argies given that its a RC match and that Argentina haven't been to Perth in a very long time (ever?).
Maybe the WACA would be a good option, if we could use the member's.
Quite honestly I reckon they'd be making more of a profit but packing NIB chockerblock as full as poss - because rugby at Subi is a complete waste of time and NO ONE is going to want to watch the test match there! The word 'watch' being debatable as well!
Yup have it at NIB. Obviously less seats = less money, to negate this, they could double the ticket prices. I'd prefer to pay $150+ to watch it at NIB rather than paying $80 - $100 to watch it at Subi. Half the time you end up watching it on one of the screens anyway.
Pretty sure we have to travel ALL THE WAY to Sydney to play the Swans this weekend ;)
One slight problem with nib Stadium. There's no grass. It's being re-turfed
it will have grass by the test though Glory stat soon dont they?
In my view it's a shemozzle... :(
