Hardly the ground breaking expansion we have heard SANZAR talking about.
You don't play all the other sides so a teams fortunes could be detirmined by the draw they receive. The way the saffers want the finals 2 from each nation is stupid, but I guess the yarpie side would take most offence from it (I would if someone told me the only way my side was going to make finals was to have 2 guranteed spots)
Why couldn't they keep the start date of the second weekend in Febuary? All for 3 extra games?
Only 2 extra games if you factor in the 15th team.
You'd be pretty pissed if the sides you missed were the Lions and the Highlanders, whilst someone else missed the Crusaders and the Bulls?
3 of the byes are for the in bound tests that will not be happening in RWC years.
