Flyhalf doesn't HAVE to take the shots on goal.
I'd prefer to have a decent Flyhalf and get someone else to kick than have a dead eyed dick that can't pass and run.
Yeah, what he said...
Maybe he had an off day, but it looked to me like his kicking style was pretty poor and that type of kicking is more prone to inaccuracy. Some of his kicks were wildly off the mark. And as theforceguy said there are plenty of kickers out there playing club rugby that are fantastic kickers.

Ireland v Italy

Pool C:
Argentina v Scotland
France v Australia
just like the Scotland game, these guys cant play wet weather rugby.Trying to run it in your own half when the ball was like a cake of soap was stupid
More significant than the Australian result is the Wales v NZ game. This is the first match NZ has EVER lost at this age group tournament.
The game was played in terrible conditions (much like Aus V Scot in the week) on a pitch that had already been bogged up by a previous game on the same day. The Welsh played very smart wet weather rugby and defended their hearts out. Well done Boyos!
The game after that, England v Ireland, started off with Ireland looking really slick, especially in those conditions. The 9 10 combination was very very good. England had 2 in the sin bin at the same time very early on.
I left it with Ireland comfortably ahead - by about 10 points - so that England got up surprised the wassname out of me!

Wales have already beaten NZ, although only 9-6, so NZ could still make the final.
Argentina are unbeaten so far (the Saffas lost to Ireland) so could make the final, too.
I'd love a Wales vs Argentina final.
France have just beaten Australia 31-7, so it looks as though Australia could be fighting for 7th.
England beat Ireland in the group stages, but that was 20-15, so that could go either way. England vs Australia for 7th/8th!
so its 8th for the joeys %((
Here is the tighthead prop getting some attention from the team doc (lucky bugger):
