Without they cost 250!
Lonzy, you need to go through eBay and find everything remotely connected to The Western Force. Then email them one at a time to Melanie Norton and ask each time if these products have been approved for sale. It would take some effort but would give her something else to try and flex her muscles at.
Dear Ms Norton,
Yes these photos were taken by myself, yes these paintings were done by myself and yes I did get the blessing of Matt Giteau when he signed the paintings AFTER I had told him what I planned to do with them. I have several witnesses to say that I did so.
I do not believe this to be a "serious offence" as you say - mostly because the majority of the funds raised will a) cover my costs (hardly a profit!) and b) contribute to the running of The Whole Force - an important website for many fans of the Force.
I do this for the benefit of fans of the team who wish to enjoy my artwork, not for any "financial gain". It is only a social auction.
If you could please provide me with the exact excerpt that states I am not allowed to sell an item that I have received verbal permission from the player to do so, that I myself have painted from photos that I myself have taken then I will gladly request that the auction be taken down.
Until then, I will continue to "sell" my items for merely cost covering and Force promotional gain as I am now, because although I realise now the wrong in my last auction, I do not see anything wrong with what I am doing now.
Yours sincerely,
Jessica Lonsdale
Nice to see Melanie's checked out the site
Did she place a bid?
If the Force administration are going to be so precious, perhaps they should ban their players from signing anything at all for fans.

I think his management team have more to worry about now than a painting on a friendly fan site..Quote:

It just seems to me like a scare tactic lonz... those paintings are fantastic and they're just bummed they don't get to benefit from your talent.
Bugger them Lonz... sell the painting anyway. :D
PS. Loved that letter Terri... did she send it?
I think this may be the key :verysad:Quote:

In fact I don't actually recall giving RugbyWA any permission to use the photo of us (The InnFORCEers) on the mountain in NZ last year for the the 2007 Membership Brochure they produced.
I think I may give the lawyers a call myself if they want to take this track.
Please do TIF.
I would pay money to see that.
It will be intersting to see if RugbyWA persue this. I would have thought they would have more important issues to deal with?
Preliminary legal discussions indicate I have a case with the use of the NZ picture without permission.
