Looks like I'll be coming via Sydney because of that Virgin Oz sale but I'm keen for a first trip to Darwin :)

My wife and I are booked.
3 nights at the Crowne Plaza (best hotel in Darwin) including buffet brekkie (stayed there last August, excellent) $420, Virgin return fares $410. Hotel room and air fare prices are for two.
Now, whose got the free match tickets?

So, who's going to be in Darwin for the match on February 1?
Where will the TWFers meet up and sit at the game?
Anyone know about tickets, kick off, etc?
Anyone know of places to go/see/activities over a weekend in Darwin which doesn't involve a swim through?
Genuine questions.

Frank, basically what we did last year was arrange tickets from RWA as when you buy them frim the gate or NTRU they come with a Brumbies membership.
Meet wise, we started at one end of Michell St and ended up at the other and on the way picked up the stragglers including Mr & Mrs Shepherd and Darwin Jono.
Last time we hired a mini van for about $80 plus fuel and went for a drive to Litchfield National Park where you can swim in some waterholes. ( The locals call the other National Park - Kakadont - and besides its too wet to get anywhere out there that time of year. )
The tides look good for Saturday and we are looking at a charter out from Dundee Beach for a spot of fishing and there is a secret safe swimming hole there for refreshment on the way back.
Other stuff round dDarwin that is good to have a look at
Croc Cove in Mitchell St
Fish feeding at Doctors Gully
Museum of Natural History
Aircraft Museum
East Point Military Museum
Convention Centre and wave pool
Markets - Sat Parap, Sun Rapid Creek - foodie delight
Stokes Wharf - casual dining over the water.
Can anyone think of anything else we did last year? Besides eleventy seven pubs?
