Alcock's leg got trapped under a pile of bodies in the first half - maybe 12-15 minutes in.
I don't know anything specific about the injury though. Could have been a knee injury?

I watched the 2nd half on TV and the simple difference was the Force guys wanted it more than the Vikings or Brumbies. The Force yelling and shouting of encouragement was very noticeable. Canberra were walking in the last 10 minutes, when the Force were going flat out still.
It was a team of stars, up against a star team.
Hats of to the Force and their coaches, the did us proud.
