Well deserved win by the Aussies. Outclassed us in every department. Bit bloody rich of the sun to get involved too by taking down our captain though ;)

Can't remember many series in Australia were multiple players have picked up stomach bugs. At least he was able to get some sleep which is very hard to do when stomach is no good.
Well another Ashes passes into history. A great win and as usual after such anticipation, there's a little regret it's all over. Different to a losing series, which I try to move on from as quickly as possible. :)
So shall we go back to the discussion about Hobart from earlier in the thread?
Tim Paine returns to Hobart after playing all 5 Tests and most of the ODI series, failed with the bat. Paine has not played a game in the BBL.
Same for both of the Marsh brothers, although Shaun Marsh had missed the BBL through a Quad strain he picked up in the Sydney Test.
The inclusions of all 3 made both sides stronger on paper but in the case of the Scorchers it forced Hilton Cartwright and Ashton Turner who were 2 of the Scorchers form batsman through out the tournament to bat lower with less time.
Having said that the Scorchers bowlers lost that game. They bowled 20 overs of rubbish. I’m not sure the call to go with an all pace attack was the right one.
Pleased to advise that this is now safely back to where it rightly belongs.

Yes, it’s firmly ensconced in its glass cabinet at Lords ;)
Alison don't you have a meeting to get ready for?
Yes SSOS had a game to forget, the bowling was crap and put pressure on the batters. We really missed Agar and tye, CA need to look at their scheduling never mind talking about expanding. We all know how that could turn out. Don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg CA! Anyway congrats the the Scorcher womens team who have made the Final
