Where abouts are you staying TQO? We're staying at the Kyriad Rabatau, booked in for nights of 5th,6th,7th Oct. maybe 8th as well or we might head back to Nice before continuing our trip. Can't wait!
Campanile Marseille Vitrolles Griffon for the night of the 7th - we are at a wedding on the 6th in England :S
Will have to suss out a place to meet up in Marsielle.
Montpelier is easier - all the Rugby World Cup action is centered around Place de Comedie - they have organized large screen to televise the matches - this is official base for the Wallabies in France - the tourist office will have details of special events for the Aussies - more info as I get it - can't wait
Good advice!Quote:

From our maison, kindly loaned to us free of charge, fully equipped and with an extensive wine cellar by a generous benefactor, we shall make occasional sorties into Montepellier, into the surrounding country side, and otherwise roam as far as Toulouse, Andorra and Barcelona in our rented minibus.
We shall catch the Australia - Fiji qualifier in Montpellier and that between New Zealand and WGaF in Toulouse.
In the process we shall inevitably get genteely drunk on a regular basis, make sworn enemies out of lifelong friends, disgust and embarrass our spouses, set back International Relations by 30 years (one of us is a Kiwi) and cause grievous bodily harm to our livers and credit cards.
But assuredly we shall enjoy ourselves in La Belle France.
Afterwards we shall drive across Northern Italy, visiting friends made on rugby trips of long ago, thence into Austria and Slovenia, before making our way to Rome and home.
We look forward to meeting any of you who are in Montpellier at the same time as we are, and perhaps we travellers can arrange to meet up at a local game or TWF function or pissup at JBO'rielly's or the Bowling club before we depart.
Ciao Bambini
Monsieur Fulvio - that sounds like a brilliant trip - enjoy! Sounds like you truly have a kind and generous benefactor!
