Sage's tip - USA by 13
Actual result - USA (91) def. Barbados (0)
Sage's brag: Ok so the result was never in doubt and I knew I was being generous with that scoreline, but even the sage couldn't have predicted the 13 try (all of which were converted) whitewash.
Sage's tip - ARGENTINA by 30
Actual result - Agrentina (60) def. Chile (13)
Sage's brag: Another one that most people would have guessed correctly, defecit was a bit bigger than I expected.
Sage's tip - TUNISIA by 1
Actual result - Tunisia (24) def. Namibia (7)
Sage's brag: Well well well, how many people took my tip? 4 it would seem... How disappointing. After Kenya beat Tunisia and Namibia trashed Kenya, the result seemed invevitable, but no. Those Tusken Raiders came through like you wouldn't believe.
Sage's tip - DRAW
Actual result - Uganda (32) def. Ivory Coast (7)
Sage's brag: I tipped a draw, because I didn't really care but I probably should have gone out on a limb, I will next time. :)
Sage's tip - SAMOA by 12
Actual result - Samoa (36) def. Tonga (0)
Sage's brag: Tonga were pretty heavy favourites coming into this one, again I can't get the scorelines right but the result it at least correct. :)
Sage's tip - FIJI by 20
Actual result - Fiji (29) def. Japan (15 )
Sage's brag: Japan put up a good fight but faded late, as expected.
Well there you go, congrats to those who put a cheeky bet on Tunisia to win.
Flattop was the big winner in that one!Quote:

Does the convincing win mean that the Eagles are now contenders for the WC? :D
No Larry, keep dreamin`
They'll be contenders in much the same way as Australia where contenders in Germany with the round ball Larry, in with a shot of an upset or two but ultimately not of a high enough standard to go on with it.Quote:

Well if they can beat those Canuck bastards I'll take that!
My apologies Sage about the Tahs remark, i was also picked up a lazy 600 from good old Tunisia.Any inside info on those pesky Lotto numbers would also be greatly appreciated.:)Quote:

Bummer, leave your mates and all... :(
As an aside, virtually every mate of mine "on the land" who I have discussed it with has said, if they won Lotto, they would stay in agriculture.
Maybe on a better property or better climate and certainly with better gear but all would keep doing similar things!
I wonder how many other industries could claim the same thing?
Well I'd have to suss it out first, make sure it's suitable for all my mates and then I'll pay for everyone to come over too. :)
I'd still stay in my industry, but I'd immediatly take some time off and do some travelling.
Id leave the landscaping gig tomorrow, and move down south and make wine in a heartbeat(i should of studied viticulture instead of horticulture),even though there is a serious glut of grapes at the moment.Quote:

I'd leave my job in a minute.
