The Vic is great pre Test but I wonder if it is too popular if we wanted to to do anything pre match?
Our crew have taken to getting there between 2:30 and 3 on match day just to ensure we don't have to line up! Lines normally start around 3:15.
Another option, although I haven't been there, is The Shed on Aberdeen St. It is a new place with Foxtel and I'm told it has really good beer gardens and apparently cruisey staff.
www.the-shed.com.au/index.html They're open til 2am on Friday & Saturday nights (so no need to go finding another watering hole at an inapropriate time of night!) and they are a new bar so may be looking to strike a deal on a membership deal or the like? They have a whacky clause in their licensing which you can read on their site which would make a membership arrangement a bonus for them.
And yes, they do have a country theme runing but at the same time they do have plenty of nubile backpackers walking about too....
Their sport bar http://www.the-shed.com.au/pages/gravel.html good set up for away games I would think!?
It's certainly worth investigating further! For home and away games.
Anyone else got a suggestion?

With all due respect to their perceived "success" in fanaticism, but I have no intention in being involved in anything that resembles that mob of mad buggers!
Their style of "support" would alienate us from the vast majority of the Subiaco crowd.
I'm all for us having cleverly worded and timely songs but count me out of the style of mindless ongoing dribble that the BA continuously rant all day.
These people are professional fans rather than supporters and I think you all have the drift of my opinion on fans v supporters by now?
Let's work on some material and manner that is uniquely WESTERN Australian!
Yeah I am with Burgs on this one - the BA are exactly that - personally I think the FANatics are a poor attempt at trying to be the BA and anytime I hear Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie Oi Oi Oi - I want to throw up - its gotta be the most moronic chant i have ever heard.
these songs being posted are way too LONG!
we need a short sharpe song
but i love every1s effort - just need to shorten em a bit :)
I still remember when Ponty lost in the second tier European Comp when I was back in the UK. We gave them a bigger cheer than the winning team and then the supporters all broke into Monty Python's "Always look on the Bright side of Life" - it was a great moment and it still brings a tear to the eye - sob.....Quote:

Before the songs, great idea by the way and great suggestions LOL, it would be great just to come up with a common chant which we can all start from our different locations in the stadium. People pick up on easy ones quickly. Start small and grow.
