The turncoat for me.
"McKenzie said he believed the Wallabies were making good progress in the scrum, thanks to the addition of prop Benn Robinson.
"He came on against Ireland and suddenly the scrum improved, you could see a lift, and that continued in the Scotland game," McKenzie said."
Seems McKenzie agrees with us that Al Baxter (who was replaced by Benny R) is a chump. It is ironic that McKenzie has been criticizing John Connolly, when it was he himself who 'advertised' Al Baxter as an overnight sensation at loose-head prop. The sensation of course being shock and horror. I seem to recall he was keen on Matt Dunning as a tight-head too?! As a former prop himself he has pretty poor taste.
Does Link get bonus money in his contract for the number of Tahs in the Wallabies?
Based purly on the 2006 s14 season Henjak has my vote. it seamed he was more worried about his hair style than inspiring plays from the forwards or the backs. One feild change from Henjak to O'Young saw the Force change into top gear.
I don't know- probably the Force's best game, against the Crusaders, saw Henjak at scrum-half and play rather well. 20-11 when he went off. O'Young was much more consistent, but he also saw a hell of a lot less pressure.
I voted Mat Rogers, will be good to watch the tahs without him next year haha!
My second and thrid votes would have gone to Henjak and Hewat respectively. Not sure why Freier was nominated.......
Few others to consider:
Brett Sheehan
Wycliff Palu
Berrick Barnes
Interesting calls, I wouldn't say anyone rates Palu, Barnes or Sheehan that highly. Based on that I'd say they perform right where they are expected. What would you say qualifies them for this "honour"?
Berrick Barnes is a gun...he will have a big year next year, it was only his first year back in rugby union last year and he stood out in a poor reds side
