Don't think he needs it now :D
I spent a couple days with Burgs and his crew in Washington DC. Sorry about the picture quality, I only had my cell phone and the settings were a mess. I'm sure Burgs will post better quality ones when he slows down.
After a short 2 hour drive on Friday morning I picked him up at his hotel. We drove across the river to Virginia and had lunch at the Fish Market in beautiful Old Town Alexandria. I'm not sure if it was the Captains Platter he ate or the 2 Schooners (32oz. beers) he drank but within 3 minutes after getting into my car he was

I turned the radio up louder so I didn't have to hear the snoring for the short ride up the George Washington Parkway to Mt. Vernon. We didn't do the tour but I woke Burgs up long enough to get his picture with George.

We than headed back to DC and met up with the rest of his crew in the hotel bar for multiple pre-dinner drinks. We all headed to Mr. Smith in Georgetown for dinner. The beer special of the month is Murphy's Irish Red Ale. $2.75 a bottle! :) After dinner we hung out in the bar. This video is from a different night but this is what it was like. A bar full of people drinking heavily and singing along with the Piano Dude!
Watch the video here!
We ended up staying there till about 2:30 am. Even if I wanted to leave there was no way I was going to pull Burgs away from all the hot woman who were hanging all over him.

We have several other special pictures on Burgs camera that may become available at a later date! ;)
Saturday morning we had breakfast in the hotel and headed down to the mall to do a few tourist things and get a few pics of Burgs for the WF contest. We went to the Air & Space museum

After that it was back to the hotel where we met up with the rest of his crew. I dropped them off at the airport as he left for the next leg of his journey, Brazil!

Wow Larry, 3 minutes before he was snoring. You got him on a good day :iconrofl::iconrofl:
Ah - the traditional Australian greeting of sleep. You should feel honored, Larry!
He wasn't asleep!
On a station you have learn how to conserve energy.
Bugs went into a form of "stasis". More commonly known as equanimity.
It's very dangerous to wake him up as his bodily function would have to realign themselves.
Typical reaction would be loss of bowel control, the inability to communicate in anyway, the temporary loss of motion of the arms and instability in the legs.
What you mistakenly though was snoring is Burgs way of reducing his body heat, much the same as a dog panting.
Music is a great aide for someone in a sublime state.
All relatively harmless. I bet when he came out this self induced coma he was like a man possessed.
You remember Mork and Mindy Larry? Similar to Mork when would go and speak to the old and great one!
My god! I'm lucky that I survived the weekend.
I never heard of Mork & Mindy, It must have been before my time. ;)
Nanu - Nanu

Where to next Burgs?
It'll give us a chance to warn the locals to lock up their daughter, Super Stud!!!
Well, have had bugger all time all trip to do any updates but following Larry's eloquent appraisal above I am still alive and well and sitting in Heathrow ready to head home for a few weeks.
It has been a real whirl wind trip and tied in with three flu's and leaving the best part of me in the Brasilia sewers I am really looking forward to a bit of home time and familiar food/drink/voices/surrounds!
TWF has featured in the highlights of the trip, firstly in DC with Larry and the babes and of course sharing part of Em and Harry's special announcement in Edinburgh.
I managed to get in one match here in England, Worcester going down to Bath in a close one at Six Ways in the freezing cold wind. Will do a thread on this one when I get home and can add photo's.
From a rugby point of view though it would be hard to beat a personal tour of Rugby School, including a quick couple of lumbering jinks on the hallowed turf of "The Close".
Stay tuned on a thread on this one too!
Anyway, for those who are around I'm hoping to get down to :jbs: on Sunday arvo for a couple before heading to the OBH, so hope a few of you are going to be at the "clubhouse".
Hopefully over the next couple of weeks I'll be able to catch up a bit and maybe discover why our season suddenly blew apart too!
Look forward to catching up as soon as possible.
Burgs.
Have a safe trip home and rest up, the girls in the south are waiting for your return!
Well friends, the time has come again!
Time to dust off the passport, heart start the credit cards and head on my merry way again!
This lap is Namibia, South Africa, USA (Chicago, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Florida), US Virgin Islands (wishful thinking maybe...), Argentina and the East Coast of Australia.
Sounds easy if you say it quick!
For those who are going to be at :jbs: I should catch you there for the match.
I am hopeful of having a little more spare time this trip to give some updates but, if not, see you in the Spring!
Good God ! Sounds like all you'll see is airports - Hope you enjoy the NH summer !
holy shit burgs! thats going to give your passport a good workout!
