I think McKenzie is being a bit disingenuous. I think the view is probably that, all technique aside, he is a bit too small at international level.

Good luck keiran will defo miss you but hey do what you gotta do :celebrate:cheers: for the great memories x
Seconded - I would rather be in Euroland than be used as the Wallaby's live scrum practice guy, who only gets a run against Hong Kong. He's done good with the Force, time for a top up, you've earned it.
Can someone please clear up this issuse about Wallaby Payments ??? I did hear you have to be a Wallaby for 2 yrs before you get a wallaby top up and that is the reason mowen is leaving.. Also if the tour is under a certian lenght payments are not given...
So all the guys that join now as rookies wont get paid to play world cup just a normal salary....
There is an article on here somewhere which covers the "new" ARU pay system, basically the top 30 or so "Wallabies" have a value determined by the ARU and they then instruct the players choice of club how much of that value they have to pay and ARU makes up the balance.
The bit about tours is on a short tour only match payments for those that actually play, where as long tours the payments are shared around the whole squad. Last year there was a tour which was border line on the rules and the players had to vote between the two and this caused some friction.
And then there is the Izzzy rule, which only applies in NSW ;)
