So, not only does he now have the honour of captaining a State with a long and proud rugby history, he also has the honour of developing a new professional entity in that state and help develop the playing base in a new breeding ground with untapped potential whilst taking on a rival code for the hearts and minds of future sportsmen and women that would be otherwise be lost to Union.
Meanwhile he gets to grow himself under the tutelage of one of the Worlds foremost Coaches.
Gee, what WAS he thinking?!?!?!
Sharpey isn't going anywhere, he is already looking to renew his contract a year early for another long stint.
And Queensland never was and never will be his "Home State". It may be the home of the first pro team he played for but NSW is his "Home State".
Oh gee that means my "home state" is NSW, but please don't call me petal.
It's ok, we bash that out of Eastern Staters after fifty years or so....
No sour grapes tic. I just don't have any respect for people that fail to honour their contracts.Quote:

Just keep telling yourself that (slaps forehead). Let's see, 71 matches for Qld - nah he clearly had no connection to Qld :DQuote:

Digby may not have had a written contract but he had given his word to the Force that he would re-sign.....that should be as good as any contract and he clearly went back on his word and went down in a lot of people's estimations as a result. I hope he enjoys himself on the wing for the Reds.....rugby'll be a great spectator sport for him from now on.
haha great read!! :)
And as I've said before - don't be hypocritical - the Force bled points uncontrollably in 3 out of their last five matches. What a sook!Quote:

Maybe's Digby's defence isn't that great if we bled points uncontrollably in 3 out of our last 5 matches......enjoy!!!
Let me know if you need a hand with that forehead next time ;)
