I don't even know why we are having this conversation. We have day light not for us, but to keep the Eastern States happy.
They should stop doing it as it makes no sense what so ever - how many people we're late for work this morning? Stacks of people at my office we're.
read my text - WE DON'T NEED IT!
BLR I am regretful for my comment earlier, however it was more a carry on response to some of your earlier extremely offensive comments over the last few weeks regarding the HMAS Sydney and our war veterans of Vietnam. I know for a fact that I am not alone in taking offence to those comments, please choose the content of your jokes more carefully. It is usually very hard to offend me but some things are classed as sacred and it is those that get my back up. Once again I apologise for the comment.
I never would of guessed that so many people would have such strong opinions over moving the clock back or forward an hour. I understand some like the boys who are rowing in the dark. Others are simply co
mical and sound like you just want something to bitch about.
I actually replied to that issue which was misunderstood but it was deleted by admins because one of the admins had posted a post saying to get back on topic. Anyway, the general guist of the post was how I believe that the veterans should be given a proper burial/memorial on Australian soil, as thier current resting place doesn't give the sacrifice they gave to thier country justice. Plus I think that thier families need closure more then anything else and I think at the time they were asking for thier relatives to be given to the family for burial.
My comments stemmed from the want for these heros to be celebrated, not in any disrespect to those soldiers who protected our way of life. Hopefully that clears the air a little...
