ha ha...
i worked it out...
google sent me here..
RugbyWA | News
so i click on the link that says rugby wa (thinking that the link that says home is "force stuff") and get more of the same... :verysad:
i looked at the side bar to see if that would take me anywhere.. but no luck there either...
what i should have done is deleted back to the nude URL... which i did not.. cos i thought it would just be force stuff.. sheesh.. im a nincompoop anyway..
aus..
You can get 1sts fixtures here: Western Force Rugby Supporters Site 2008 RugbyWA 1st Grade Fixtures :) (off teh Fixtures section in the navigation column on the main page
get over it pieter....how many games did mckay turn out for baysie in....1 from memory - which is only one less than pocock has played for uni.
looking over the results....
uni smashed baysie seconds and colts as well.....that was without their full time professionals playing in those sides.
4 losses in a row = a streak.
looks like a club on the slide.
fair call bang...
you guys are lucky the clubs your with are still in 1st grade rugby.
my 1st club ARKS were dumped after many years of struggles and i had to switch to cottesloe after 15 years playing juniors, colts and 2nds for ARKS. it was hard to see this happen to ARKS as some members saw the club virtually implode after 20 years of tireless volunteering and sacrifice all in their passion for rugby to grow in the Armardale Roleystone and Kelmscott districts. a failed merger with southern lions later it was off to cottesloe to continue the dream ....
so i my humble opinion you guys are lucky to be able to adopt a couple of force players as your own as some clubs may never be able to do so...
just my 2 cents worth ....
yah thats a fair call as well NTT,
considering the season uni has had.....
at the end of the day i think we are all glad to see the force boys playing in the local comp. the more they do the more the level will lift - yeah it may cost a few teams here and there but in the end i think rugby is the real winner....
....and I heard that ARKS were invited to re-join 1st grade with Rocky a couple of years ago, but declined the invitation.......
Dunno TQ1, wasn't really part of the club until their first game.
I duess the player drain thing with two clubs so close together and only 1 first grade club would be the cost, but I was more pointing to the fact that it is possible to regain that position. I don't really know the ins and outs of the politics though.
We're not doing bad considering the recent return to the grade and the apparent lack of support from the administration!
