Well I gotta say I was pretty impressed with Bairstow's guts effort today. I was surprised he managed to bat so well after that blow. Ouch!! If he can hang in a bit longer it might be interesting. Well a little bit, anyway. The Kiwi did alright too.

Perhaps, but that is of zero concern unless England can find some way to reverse those roles. Until then, it is a bit like Mike Catt consoling himself that Jonah may be a little bit suspect on defence.
