Case in point, Nestor is polling higher than Jake White, which might make sense, since they've both won a world championship.
I think Blackadder may have been added to the poll after a lot of people had already voted so the results may not be a real indication of who people would prefer.
Maybe the unemployed Andy Farrell, Mike Catt & Graham Rowntree joined TWF? In hope of getting a new gig too 😆
Heard Jake White has put his hat in the ring
We have seen glimpses of the game plan jointly developed by Michael Foley, his coaching staff and the player group throughout the 2016 season.
This was clearly evident when the Western Force ran with the top NZ teams for 55 minutes of 80.
For too long now the Sea of Blue has been submitted to the torture of seeing the opposition establish a winning score by half-time and stir the Force players into action only to usually fall short and occasionally win.
The Cheetahs game was no different from what we've seen before, EXCEPT, the attacking rugby played by the Force for the last 45 minutes we just haven't seen played consistently enough.
The Coach can establish the game plan (this year has shown that Foley et al did this) but ONLY the players can implement it.
Clearly the squad is short of key players to turn this attacking game plan into consistent wins.
A Coach with a strong track record of building a squad which can play 80 minutes of smart, winning rugby will get my vote.
I actually don't care if he comes from coaching Nar Nar Goon 1st XV as long as he has those key attributes.
Many of those names in the voting list do not satisfy these selection criteria - even when they've coached National Teams.
PS In the absence of Matt Hodgson it's encouraging to see some players stepping up as on field leaders.
Mike Brewer's name can be added to the poll.Plenty of quality candidates becoming available.

I was very impressed with harry Scoble last night .. He was really into the game and leading the pack.. the lineouts were a bit off but once Phillips got on our line ot seem to take shape.. Phillips wa the caller and scobs hit the mark often ... Next week will be a different game.. We need to play smart rugby as them stormers are firing
Yeah Tonk I thought the same re Scoble. Certainly didn't mind giving the forwards a rattle up at scrum time and every time a reserve came on. Was well impressed with Ross and Phillips as well.
People will find negatives in the lineouts and scrum but things started to show promise Harry S and Hardwick RHS and Phillips could be the core going in the forwards.. I found it strange tho he New boy Phillips was the lineout caller.. not a negative just puzzling.. WE need new blood in the coaches box and CEO
For those wishing to apply.

You have until 15/7/16
so 15/7 for applications. 2 weeks for selection committee and shortlisting. 2 weeks for interviews another 2 weeks for negotiations for with the preferred candidate and signing a contract. so we are probably at least 2 months off any decision re the coach?
Seems too long given our state. They should have had this application ready to go up the minute Foley's execution papers were signed.
