Cooments in an item at The Roar
"I think you can say this about the 5 10′s so far (in no particular order):
Toomua: receives good front foot ball, does the simple things right, committed guys outside him with some game breakers in McCabe and 12 -15
Foley: receives rubbish, tradesman with a goer at 12 and a finisher at 15 and nothing in between
Heggarty: receives reasonable front foot ball, has tradesmen outside him and leaves it to them to ply their usually reliable trade.
Cooper: receives a lot of average off the back foot from a struggling pack and ends up trying to be brilliant with an underperforming and hyped back line
Force: there is no 10, just a line of concrete and an angry badger."
:D
not entirely accurate, if Sias was eligible this year, he would definitely be in the frame, after having a great year. Cooper has probably shown the most, given that he is playing with ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT! He is the only bloke in the team who hasn't bought the Dick Graham game plan and as a result is singlehandedly dragging their asses through games. Cooper this year, but he better watch out for when Sias becomes eligible, because Sias would be the safer option.

Does anyone know what the backrow stocks look like in the Academy or extended training squad? At this point, I believe Stander is the only backrow coverage they're carrying, and the way Hodgo is going hammer and tongs for 80 every weekend, they've gotta be thinking about getting some fresh bodies int here.
Don't really know anything about the EPS or Academy, so I was curious what the depth situation is like.
I think they just go down the local abattoir and get another load of fresh guts and send them out again!

Thanks to the other Badger and Mrs Badger for recording it.
I don't think I have ever heard a ref warn a skipper about the team having too many injuries and he (the ref) will ignore any more men "down" and keep the game going...what the hell happened Angus Gardner to duty of care ...??? you're a plonker..
i have to say hertryk, that we were going down a lot, and holding up the game. i don't have a problem with the ref saying that. we obviously were pushing for time, but that is the luxury you get when you are in front!
Funny though, I thought after we kicked the last penalty, and were 12 points ahead, that we might have been the side showing more urgency and started going for the bonus point.
