I hate Canberra
Please advise who will make it there early on Thursday in time to attend Captain Run which is normally after lunch.
Any help needed with tickets or do you have it under control Muddly?
My flight doesn't arrive until 2.30pm on the Thursday so unless the run is later than that I won't be able to make it :-((
Me, have things under control??? What you been smoking?? We won't be back from the snow till Friday so no Captains run for us.
Canberra is the biggest shit hole in Australia.
If it weren't for the War Museum there would be no point to visit it.
Alcotourism at it's best
I still don't know why you guys diss the place so much when you've seen about 2% of it! It's an awesome place if you go and see some different suburbs
Such as Fishwyck - now THAT has something for everyone!
Not that bloody boutique one with the hops all over the walls!
This was my suggestion for last years InnForcers
I have put together a couple of suggested itineraries for Pub crawls in Canberra as well some other pubs that are pretty good.
I've used this website for info so blame them if the Bars no longer exist or aren't open! www.yourbars.com.au
Most of these are open during the day though there's heaps more around, they just open in the evenings.
Hopefully it's useful in helping the pub count and I never hear you say that Canberra is boring again!
Apparently the Uni Pub is a really good one for watching sport, got about 4 levels with restaurant as well, one level is pool tables and big screens
