Will the Tahs, Reds etc all be fielding understrength sides without any Wallabies players selected? Or are they free to play in those games.

Dingo made it obvious that he wanted to see how Quade went against them and would not confirm final squad until after the Reds game.
Is this man in the squad?

With two halfbacks in front of him he won't start, but he'll surely warm the bench for one of them.
I'd reckon he'll ride the pines for the Lions game, with Sheehan starting, Foley (if he's smart) will bank on Alby playing for 80 minutes and put a club weenie in the Tahs game.
I won't mind if this is the case and Foley picks a Shute Shield halfback to fly over the other side of the country to watch a game of rugby
Ryan Louwrens would be the other Halfback for sure he has been playing the Force A games and against Tonga and has been training with the boys so will be in the know.
Rouwrens is a much better half back than Snowden in my humble opinion, but I believe he may have eligibility issues which I hear should be rectified shortly.
How many other Super Rugby teams are going to field a full strength side?
A. NONE!
This hue and cry is an Eastern States Media plot to bluff the Force into fielding an under-strength side to play the TAHs!
DON'T be fooled!
Whether next year or in twelve years , no one is going to remember we came 14 or 15th on the ladder because we had to field an understrength side for the tahs game to fit in a game against a touring test side. The highlanders and kings aren't far behind and have good oppurtunities to overtake us! i.e. highlanders vs rebels
A good win over the tahs will give us breathing space on the ladder, an improvement on last year and a bit of extra belief for the boys that they are heading in the right direction for next year.
Have they actually decided that ALL Wallabies so far named will not be released for Super Rugby on the weekend?

I think this is piss poor. Who gives a fuck if we finish 13th, 14th or 15th now? No finals rugby again for the Force so why not at least show some respect to the Lions and put out the best team possible? I'd rather see a 2nd string play the Tahs. I went to Hong Kong to watch the barbarians game and felt let down but at least it was history in the making and great banter. The Lions against a Force 2nd team at Subi? No one will remember a loss but a win would be awesome and a highlight in anyone's rugby career. Typical WA short sighted nonsense; no wonder AFL is the dominant sport. Rant over
I'd rather see us beat the Waratahs - we have a fair chance of that. Can't see us getting close to the Lions either way!
What's with the rumour Kyle has hurt his shoulder and could be out for 12 weeks and has been holding off the op? Or is this someone with the wrong facts?
WA TODAY has that he has an injury but that he should be right to go this weekend so who knows.
I'm not a big fan of The Roar
But
http://www.theroar.com.au/2013/06/05...blame-the-aru/Quote:
The British rugby media has taken aim at Force coach Michael Foley, when the Australian Rugby Union should be the target.
Foley, faced with two games in four days, named a team of no-names for the clash with the Lions tonight in Perth, but will select a far stronger lineup for the Waratahs game in Perth on Sunday.
“Insulting,” cried the British media.
That’s total bollocks.
Now for the facts.
Why did the ARU agree to the pointless Lions-Barbarian opening fixture of the tour in sweltering Hong Kong last Saturday?
The Force had a Super Rugby bye that day, so the tour could, and should, have kicked off on Australian soil in the west. Not with some social game in Asia.
and don't forget these bits:
"But no-one can blame Foley for taking his stance. He’s done some tremendous work with the Force this season, a far cry from the shambles of last season coaching the Waratahs, losing the final eight games.
Foley has carved a niche for himself in the west, and good luck to him."
Nice to have some support.
