Hi guys,
I have been trying to find a particular song they play at all Force games. It is played at half time just before the team comes back to the field, quite a rockish sort of song...I can't get it out of my head and I dunno what it is called
Can someone please help me or does someone know the song?

hmm I know both those songs and there not it, the one I'm after is played as the team come back from 1/2 time, I might have to contact Rugby WA and find out, but thanks for the replies guys!

is it "on my mind" by powderfinger? i remember they played it a number of times at the game. just the chorus on repeat...

nah it's not that, I guess the one I'm talking about they use as a pump up song for the 2nd half, real good rock sound to it and what I've heard of it, it doesn't appear to have words-Thanks anyway;)
Well thunderstruck was the one they played as the players came back on when I was there . Do you know which game had this song playing?
I think they also do the start to a Dire Straits song - the one with the big drum solo at the start.. Money for Nothing?
Well I know they play the Terminator music from T2 just as the boys run out I dont know the name but I think that might be what you mean coach.
That could be it... They definately do the T2 music (now that you've jogged my memory) not so sure on Dire Straits anymore - I can't get that bloody tune out of my head now :S

thats gotta be it cause my mum loves that song and we were walking back to our seats just before the players came back on and they started just playing the music to that song without the lyrics so i remember nudging her going 'it's your song mum!'

ok now i'm not so sure anymore cause i don't remember what the music from T2 sounds like... will have to go download some. did anyone else cry in the end of that movie? as arnie slowly sinks into the lava? or is it just me... :blush:
mmm... now the dire straights song is in my head... i just have the line "you got them brand new microwave ovens" going over and over in my head...and over and over and over....

Well i have found the Theme and it's definitely what they play just as the Force runs out but I dont know how to send it anyone know?

Not sure if I can really facilitate the copying and transmission of music without possibly getting myself into trouble, but if you head over to Amazon.com here you can listen to the first 30 seconds of each track online ...
thanks heaps coach! that music rings a bell now. But it doesn't seem to have that certain rock feel about it that ryan was describing... maybe it was the dire straits song he was after after all. :) (i just realised i was spelling it as straights before... my bad)
