Nick Cummins has teamed up with fellow Australian Justin Coveney to form the “Sons of Fukuoka” bikie gang.

Well, sort of.

By bikie, we mean scooters. And by gang, we mean two ex-pat rugby players.

Cummins appears to be settling into his new life in Japan, proclaiming via social media that the Coca Cola West Red Sparks are #goingvertical.

He also provided a hint that he was missing his involvement with the Wallabies. Replying to one of his followers, who asked the Wallabies and Western Force to bring him back to Australia, Cummins responded: #icanthearnofatlady.

Cummins will be hoping for a better performance this week. The Red Sparks were beaten 31-0 by Kobelco Steelers last weekend, tarnishing what had otherwise been a promising start to their Top League season.

The Red Sparks play Toyota Verblitz in the next round.
