Wine Lake Despite drought, bushfires, and rising water costs Australia’s growers have produced a surplus equivalent to 400 Olympic swimming pools or 100 million cases of wine - some selling for less than the cost of bottled water – and with 4 leading industry bodies saying that as much as a quarter (40,000 hectares of plantings) may not be viable SMH.

I think some of us need to take a long hard look at ourselves and ask if we are letting the Australian wine industry down.

Yeah I know - I looked it up (I'm a :nerd:), and it just means to double, unless you're doubling someone else's double bet in bridge.
