It strikes me that two years away from the game probably isn't the most inspiring background for entering a season in the world's toughest Union comp...
Hope he get's better quickly.
poor bugger, will be reduced to door knocking again
gawd it hasn't started again for us has it ?
Well that's shit. Hopefully cullet and whatever mr fiji's name is can't stay healthy. But I can't see any player lasting all season. ESP the internationals
that must be devastating for the young guy... all the best...
It could be worse. Gotta feel sorry for the guy though.
I wonder if the ARU will allow us to bring in an injury replacement?
Damn, was really thinking it would be good to see either Rapana, Stanley, Tupou or Wara step up this year and surprise everyone.
Im ganna take a punt and say that stanley will be the man to let rip this year!
yeh he has alot to play for esp againist the kiwi teams.
I would have liked to see Sheps do a full pre season to get harden up....I get scared eveytime he touch's the ball
I appreciate I am taking this off topic so apologies, I too am sorry to hear of any serious injury to a player and wish a speedy recovery.
Firstly, I was not commenting on the relative strengths of the National Teams, I agree that the world rankings are hard to argue with so we have no disagreement there (you may be No.2 but remember Ireland gave you a good lesson not so long ago :P). The fact is that in the English Prem, The French Top 14 and the Rabodirect Pro 12 teams are much more likely to contain far greater selection of nationalities, including those from the Southern Hem, that is what IMHO makes each of those leagues special. Now you might not agree that it is the best way to run a domestic comp and the restrictions that Aus place on imports is a sound policy to develop your National side but the Northern Hem policy certainly makes it more competitive club competions, tell me you don't enjoy the Heineken Cup????
Secondly, I was not being serious...couldn't find "an irony" smiley.
:icon_hand:SUFTU
Only just worked out what SUFTU means - for a bit there I thought it was a variation of STFU
For irony, you could try :sarcastic: or :sarcasm:, but failing that :upyours: usually works :)
:force: SUFTWF
I think it could just about work Coach, it would be fun to see the crowd try to crow bar Western Force into the lyrics. Have to say I can't help but smile when I read your signature, The man in Black for Beiber, now thats a deal i'd happily broker.
Hope you are keeping well.
Stand up!
