I thought it was traditional to go over to the winning teams sheds to have a drink.
But I got there and there was no one home...all locked up...deserted...

He may not have made my man of match, but he was bloody impressive considering his previous form over the past two seasons..., well deserved anyway...
i would have picked spanner over lote.
but i can see why he got MOM.
he was dangerous everytime he got the ball and worked hard in defence.
I would have picked Spanner, McKay, Brownie, Sam Norton Knight, Burgess...
That penalty was crap. The dirty looks the ref got from the crowd after that were more dangerous!!
I know Gits knocked himself out, just thought it should be known that Tahs said they would target him & in an unlucky twist of fate they did get him out of play. I know I said it before, but I'm SO glad that he is ok!! :)
Mom for me was Cliff Palu.
yep
him too.
looks like hes going to be the wallabies no 8 this year.
good on him as well. he deserves it
Well, I've only just recovered enough to actually read this thread....Thanks Larry for repressing the memory that it was me shaving my head.....Chook, the deeds been done, the technique I suggested worked, and my head's bloody cold....or bloody hot, it just never feels right, this won't last long.
On to the game, I haven't watched the replay so have to comment based upon the poor view we get from the stands.....The better team won.....I am a little disappointed though that we didn't run their forwards around a bit more, we def won the battle of posession all night, and didn't have any problems at all holding onto the ball...we were patient and strong in attack, but we spent the entire game witht he lightest pack in S14 running straight into the biggest pack in Aussie rugby (I think) Brave...yes, Effective? no! I would have preferred to see a lot more of the rucks forming 1 or two passes wide of the previous rucks that would have taken the sting out of a bunch of forwards who we matched...but didn't beat, when they got the ball, I think our guys were just too stuffed to compete much at the breakdown and that made it hard for them to cover when the break was made!
Gutsy effort boys, shame!
Photos to come!
The Tahs pretty much rock. I haven't watched the game yet. Will be back with more unbiased and clear thoughts later on.
Good on ya gigsa!! You actually look all right!
Mitchall, spanner, brown, could have all got MOM
