Would have been better June/July as Force wanted it. But no those selfish NSW clubs, who appear to only think of themselves, have forced the ARU to change it
September/October isn't a bad time for WA either Ferdi. It is at the end of the club rugby season, meaning we get to enjoy watching our Force stars playing for their club in WA. If the comp was to be played in June/July, then the WA clubs would be without their Force stars and therefore lowering the standard in which the games are played....therefore less entertainment for us at club matches.
I thought the idea of an APC was to blood new players at a higher level? Not much point just have the same Force team playing another comp, sure they will be missing the wallabies players, but that still doesn't leave much room for club players to move up. Hopefully the selection commitee will use the APC for its purpose, to expose new players to a higher level of competition that what they g et at club level.
